Replay is the manual

A new operator sits with last Tuesday and walks the rail. If you need a slide deck, the ledger is not honest yet.

Salt & Wire trains on nights, not on decks. Last Tuesday is always available. You walk the rail in order: trigger, relays, hold, seal. You see the drift mark where the calendar door hesitated.

Why this works

People remember stories. A ledger is a story with timestamps. A wiki is a story with hope. We prefer timestamps.

What replay is not

It is not a summary. Summaries hide the hold you skipped. If a line is missing, it did not happen. If a line is ugly, it still happened. Do not edit the night to make the floor look cleaner.
