When a relay goes quiet

Drift is a floor event, not a toast. Do not auto-clear it to keep a dashboard green.

Harbor Line’s calendar door started answering slowly. The desk marked drift and stopped that rail. Nobody got a cheerful retry loop at 2 a.m.

Silence is data

A rail that usually runs and then does not is more important than a rail that errors loudly. Loud errors get tickets. Quiet ones become folklore. Drift is how we refuse folklore.
